This is a trace of the emotionally supportive, intersectionally validating, community building, and overall safe space that is student cooperative living community (co-op) meetings. Reflecting on my experience within the Covid-19 Pandemic, I’m constantly reminded of how fortunate I am to live at The Dolores Huerta Co-Op; it’s been my salvation during these depressive and anxiety-ridden times. This photograph is the epitome of my global pandemic experience. Particularly, this kitchen table has helped our 18-person community uphold communication, trust, and nourishment of our minds, bodies, and souls despite the uncertain state of the world. This table kept every 'Dolorean' covid free for the entire pandemic thus far. This very table bears our tears, sacrifices, laughs, screams, cries, dance moves, and everything else in between; it has been and will continue to serve as our sanctum.
